Photonics devices, image sensors, and vision sensors are used in a host of applications in science and technology and are rapidly evolving. Swiss developers are very active in these fields. This one-day workshop brings them together with potential research and development partners and end users in industry and academia. The presentations will cover a broad range of cutting edge technologies ranging over single-photon sensors, 3d
time-of-flight sensors, wide-dynamic range sensors, bio-inspired vision
sensors, high speed sensors, advanced image processing, and application
areas in machine vision. Live demonstrations will show how these work
and how they can be applied.
