Decoding of realtime cortical signals for hand grasping coupled to a virtual reality system
To study hand grasping movements in a virtual environment, we will develop a virtual reality software system for hand grasping, in which hand grasping movements can be simulated and visualized using a variety of different objects. This system will be tailored to be used in electro-physiological recording experiments for testing neuronal activity for hand grasping of different objects and in decoding experiments, in which the decoded hand grasping movement will be visualized and/or perturbed.
