I received training in experimental psychology and neuroscience. My research interests focus on the processing of visual signals within the primate brain, with particular emphasis on color and form information.
We use a variety of experimental techniques to investigate how visual signals code various stimulus attributes and to reveal the principles guiding how these different signals are combined to yield a global, coherent percept of the world.
In addition, we study the role of visual signals in a variety of domains ranging from visual awareness to Virtual Reality (VR).
